Cab removal without a lift?

Surely someone on here has done it? Buddy has blown head gaskets on his lb7. We are gunna replace them in my shop, but I don't have a lift but got a skid steer.

I'm not sure I'd want to lift my cab off with a skid steer. You will be better off pulling it with the cab left on.

dealerships leave cab on. I left cab on.

I did it cab on, and I have a lift. I would pull the engine first .

I would do the HG's without doing both.

I've did full body swap on a rolled over truck to a whole new cab box and front clip. I used my s300. Worked great with the fork extensions. But I have heard many doin it with the cab left for head gaskets. I'd try it before pullin cab.

Ya fork extensions would be a must, just not sure where to lift to not damage

I pulled my motor to do them.
