Cab lights

Looking to buy a another truck and 2 of the 3 I'm looking at have cab lights which I hate. Has anyone removed these and how much did it cost? Under the lights is there two holes each for the small ones and 3 for the bigger center one?

one hole on center one, how ya gonna patch holes? Might want to look at some aftermarket ones that look better. I rebuilt mine with 120 led bulbs in each, they look yellow not amber looks better and much brighter

I only took a basic intro to body work class but couldn't I just take the head liner down and tack a small piece of metal under the hole and slowly plug weld it and be careful not to warp anything? Then just sand and bondo smooth and paint it? I've seen the smoked or blacked out ones but I much rather prefer the clean look
