Got a LLY c4500 dump in that needs CP3, possible injectors, and head gaskets. I have no experience working the the big chassis' trucks. Is it possible to do this job without lifting cab or pulling engine? I would lean toward pulling engine before cab but maybe it's no big deal? This truck's dog house cover wont come out either without pulling the passenger seat and loosening the pto control box thats bolted to floor in the center!

Cab has to be raised a few inches to get number 8 injector in and out..

Honestly that job will suck ass lol.

If it was me I'd probably pull the motor

If you need parts we have great prices on our Brand New Bosch Injectors here. I would also just pull the motor.

Johnny could tell you all the ins and outs if he still got on here regularly. dont think ive ever seen someone put as many engines and parts in a kodiak as him :D

tell ya what, i did a full service plus water pump on a 07 chevy 2500 van with the 6.0 in it late last week. i wish my truck was that easy to work on!

Engine is really no harder (Time Wise) to pull out then in a 2500/3500 chassis..
I pulled mine last winter in a couple hours with a second set of hands…:thumb:
