No, its about a bunch of trucks that clearly dont run anywhere near the power you claim, but for some reason you refuse to understand that.

Yes, your choice of tuning isnt the best, but thats not all thats wrong apparently. Thing is, you also dont seem to have the diagnostic skills to figure out what's really going on with them.

Its NEVER as easy as "slap a bigger turbo on and go fast" with these damn trucks. Everything has to match, fuel and air, to get the most out of these heavy things.

The guys here are for the most part very smart. Most have "seen it, done it". They know what works and what doesnt.

I never claimed anything. I literally listed the times because I joined the original topic on the S369sxe thread and posted what had happened and posted the other 2 times. Still completely lost on how I seemed like I was bragging or claiming power. The 4094 dynod 576 dropping rail and obviously didn’t run to its potential at the track. It fell on its face during shifts and couldn’t launch as smoothly as I wanted it to.

It was pretty consistent. Stock turbo had the best of 102-103 and the big turbos were 103-104.

I planned on running mine but didn’t find the time to get trans done with too much work at the shop.

If I was you I wouldn't build my own transmission either.

Pretty much all the trucks are only putting down around 520-530 (maybe) based on their weight and mph.

And then I brought up the point that the slips on the stock air/fuel truck (and a couple other local trucks) runs about .5 seconds faster at a different track...fact. So I said that Byron seems slower, but since most of you already had a hard on because of my newbie-ness to this Diesel forum and my young age that I’m clearly an idiot.... so you pretty much just that to your advantage now because it does sound stupid, but it’s the truth. Especially with the consistency of a stock air/fuel truck.

......back to what I said about probably shouldnt have posted the times b/c the trucks werent set up to run, therefore the results werent what they should typically be.

Might just be a good idea to call it a day on this topic as its getting everyone nowhere quickly. Guess we'll wait until spring to find out if the times were an aberration (like Michigan State's football season last year) or if they were/are a trend, which means you have more work to do.

Yes, exactly. Pretty sad really that the stock truck kept up. Got a lot to learn about the two bigger turbo trucks, tuning updates are in the future and hopefully just a different setup for the one. but it’s already November, so Kinda shitty timing to get the upgrades done and test again

Make sure you tell your "customers" that before they spend big $$ with you. That you have a lot to learn. Make sure they understand that their hard earned money is being spent to educate you. I'm sure they won't mind.

I’m just trying to learn too...lol. Sue me..

Then you shouldn't own a shop and charge people!!!!!!

On edit: We are all still learning. That never stops. But if your selling performance parts and cant break into the 12's in 2017 then you have no business taking peoples hard earned money.

Ha, yeah...because everyone else started off so much better? Lol, Get ****ed.
But actually yes, I said that to the guy I just built his 68rfe. First one I ever touched. I’m honest, I do the best I can. You don’t know shut about me. Except for the fact I can’t get stock fuel trucks into the 12s at Byron.. ;)

So the mph is the same. The track doesn’t lie but dynos do.

Can’t blame the track or the fact that your dyno queen cant crawl down a track.

Sounds like Industrials truck :spit:

It is a dyno queen, spools like crap on the road. No one likes the 4094 except for Danville....but not my choice for tuning. Or money.

It can crawl down the truck....just like a stock air/fuel truck, just with a nicer whistle lol.

And lol at the ii comment...

I'm not sure what's worse everyone talking about this guy being on Facebook and getting on a Likes bandwagon for not knowing shit. Or him being on here and everyone hoping on the tear him apart bandwagon.

The best thing for everyone is for this thing to die.

I mean, doesn’t seem like I’d get much help on here anyways. No clue where I became such a shame to the Diesel community. Not sure where it seemed like I bragged about these times.

The fact is even if the 369 and sportsman truck isn’t setup for racing it should still be putting down more power and therefore trapping higher speeds. It’s putting down the same power as a stock truck. Therefore the customer wasted 5k on parts Plus labor. Obviously something is wrong with the truck or tuning.

Even if the track is “slow” if the trucks were performing like they should the 369 and sportsman truck should be trapping much higher speeds than a stock air and fuel truck.

Also there is many of us young guys on here. I just turned 23 myself and that doesn’t mean the members here bash me. I treat them with respect and appreciate the help they have all offered me and it goes a long ways :thumb:
