Byron "slow track" discussion

Let us know what it runs. U said 369 and 10mm pump stock injectors?

The LLY with sportzman cp3 and s369sxe Ran a 13.05 @ 104mph at Byron in Illinois. Track is pretty slow and hook conditions werent very good, but thats actually a pretty good time for that track!

06 lbz ran a 13.06 with stock fuel and 68mm 4094

and another 06 lbz stock everything ran a 13.07

All trucks had my trans but top 2 were not track ready whatsoever....could have got 12s with the right prep...we will test next year at another track too. Tired of getting a bunch of shit feedback becasue people dont understand Byron is roughly .5 seconds slower than other local tracks

Yikes, those are very poor numbers, bad track prep or not. Id start to question how the trucks are set up for racing.

So stock LBZ runs same time as LLY with sportsman pump and 369??? Yeah that makes sense. You better hope that track is at least half a second slow.

Even if the ET is slow, that's a pretty low mph. Hell mine traps 105-106

I'd think 110mph would be easily done with a poor launch

Ya I ran 12.86 at 104.90 with a weak cp3 dropping to 21k

Yepp, lol. There was 10 second trucks there running mid 11s too. Its a slow track. Not sure why.

And yes, the 369 w/ sportzman was running at leveled height and BFG all terrains aired up to like 65-80 psi. He launched like old people ****..

It should not take a lot of prep at those hp levels. Post up time slips. I could not see how a track is off .5.

I took my riding lawn mower to that track and pulled a better 60' than that. What makes it worse is, my lawn mower has a Kohler engine. :dr:

Don't Mark B. And Brett with the c10 race at Byron all the time? They usually have good passes.

The only one that dynod was the 13.06 slip and he dynod 576/1019....turbo doesnt like to stay within its powerband, needs to have shift points raised and cut a better 60'

The other one, stock lbz built trans, was running 13.2 in the spring till i messed with the trans tuning and got the 13.07

Yeah but they probably let Mark and Brett run the good track cuz they feel sorry for them. brad puls gets the crap track cuz there trying to keep him down. Lol
