Bypass Catalytic Converter

Has anyone found it better for performance to bypass the Catalytic Converter? If so, what is the best method to do so? Have a '08 GMC Serria 2500 HD w/6.6L Duramax & Allison Trans.

No good IMO. you also have a DPF and a muffler to further reduce flow

For an 08 you will have to remove the DPF and have the truck tuned to not try to regenerate. There are plenty of guys here who can help you out.

Yep. Either replace it with a straight pipe or gut it.

if you choose to straight pipe it MBRP has all kinds of kits for pretty much every truck. there kits are easy to install and you dont have to brake the bank to get one!

Just finished a 2008 i used the mrbp with muffler and efilive tune form Diesel adication. I am very please with the results.​
