As many have said, too much money. If possible keep looking around and expand your search parameter if necessary. That is a ton of money to spend on that old of a truck. None the less, best of luck to you and I'm happy you will finally feel comfort coming from a dodge and all. :thumb:

Btw, welcome.

I've looked all over the U.S. For a decent lbz they are really rare. This one was the only one I found with low mileage and the right colors

What year cummins was your 24v?

2002 h/o 6 speed 600hp build. I still have it I just want a better riding nice truck. The 06 lbz is the prize year for Duramax. That is why they hold better value than the LLM. I don't know a lot about them but I haven't heard much good about the newer 08+ trucks. I could be wrong tho.

I LOVE my lmm the only real difference between the lmm and lbz was the heavier emissions on them vs the lbz... As I have told a few others my truck is forsale as well for the right price :thumb:

Last me 10 + years. The lbz I'm looking at is legit i can build it up myself. It's the prize year for these trucks.

I'm damn near the new silverado haha. I really like those but I'm a diesel head and would feel weird driving something quiet ha. But considering moving 3,000 miles away I need to have reliability and decent maintenance costs. From a est I'll be driving 15-18k a year.

Don't get me wrong the new silverado's are nice but from personal experience I have tried to go back into a gasser a couple of times and I fail each and every time. Maintenance might be a little more expensive but the possibilitys with a diesel are endless!

Very true. The mileage for lbz seems decent to. My boss has a ecoboost f150 he spent like 55k on it and gets like 16mpg on the highway. It's a joke my cummins gets 18 with 35's lol. But with 7" lift and 35's I'll be lucky to see 15 average as the speed limits are 45+ out there to 25-35 max here in Cleveland.

From all the research I've done it does seem fair. Ppl try selling the same truck pretty beat up no lift stock for 26-28 if you want mint you gotta pay extra. Falls under how bad do you want it. I wish I could find a mint lbz lt for 25 lol. I'm sure in 5 years from now when the truck has 120k if I decide to sell it'll still prolly go for 20. They'll be really rare then may even be worth more

Not sure what the final price you agreed on but it does say OBO. These LBZ's hold their value very well. I bought a new white 07 CC/SB classic back in 2007. It was totally tricked for the time, including sun roof, DVD, full leather, real deal chrome door and tailgate handles etc. I paid $35,500 for it brand new. I put TTS dual lift pumps on it, a set of MPI twin turbos,( don't remember exactly but I think it's a S475 over stock) full gauges including fuel pressure, boost, drive pressure and EGT. I also put a Precision TC and TTS Tranny upgrade in addition to a ATS co-pilot, and ATP tuning and a B&W flip over goose neck hitch. I sold it in 2010 for $39,000 with 68,000 miles on it, The guy I sold it to drove it like a little old lady. He died this last spring and his son sold it to another guy who put on a 6" lift and some big meats. Long story short his short wife didn't like it so he put it on consignment and I ended up buying it back for $32,000. It had 81,000 miles on it and is like new. I put a DSP 5 switch in it, and added a soot trap to the drive pressure gauge. Also got rid of the big tires as it was scary to drive if the highway was rutted. I am going to $hit can the lift too, it doesn't feel safe to drive at any speed over about 80. At 120+ it is down right scary.

Good luck looks like your are getting a really nice truck.:thumb:
