I have the chance to buy and LB7 crew cab long bed leather with 250K it runs good but the injectors are going bad and its smoking at idle. interior is rough from normal wear and being a company rig for the last 100K bed is so so but a bedliner and a set of bed caps would spruce that up, steering leak. but all in all its not too bad. I told him 6500$ is as high as I would go and he said 7K what do you all think. I can do the work putting new injectors in and anything else. but it would just be a flip rig. what are these selling for? its is a 2003 2500HD white LT tan leather. Let me know what you think KBB says 12,495$ in fair shape as I feel that is what it is.

I see LB7's in fair condition by me for sale for for 6-10k. If you can make it look real nice plus injectors for not a lot of money it could be worth 10-15k here depending how nice it is. Assuming it's 4x4.

Deals are out there though. My buddy bought his 06 CCLB with 230k on it for $13,500.

Duramax trucks seem to sell pretty quick as long as they are either A: in good shape B: Not that good for cheap. Stick some time and money into it and you'll make a few bucks no problem.

plus its the northwest, shit always goes for more up here.

make a list of what parts will cost and look at what your profit would be if you got what you think it is worth and decide if your time is worth what the profit would be.

Riiight, right. no way is anyone going to take 2K for this rig around here. I tried to buy an 02 one time that had a 180k the motor was out and had a lifted cup or two a a scored cylinder wall and was only a ECLB and the engine was torn apart. it was at a dealer and I offerered him 3K and he said not even close. someone bought it but I never heard for how much.

2k wouldn't touch it in Florida either unless you have the best luck in the world. I've seen beat to absolute hell, tired, smoking single cab 2wds go for $4k or better

Crazy how different prices are in different areas. My brother bought a 2003 single cab long bed 4x4, cloth interior, 200k miles, needing injectors. Paid $1,200. This was in northern CA, less than 500 miles from the OP.

OP: it may be worth a drive, since your goal is a flip. Keep an eye on used trucks in other states, pick one up, and sell it locally.

Oh yeah I'm too busy to do that but when they fall in my lap you know that's a different story. I actually think around here it would go for 14k with a set of injectors and a spruce and douche!

Don't forget every area of the US has drastically different prices. And most likely in way better physical condition then anything you would find in the Rustbelt or east coast. I would realistically offer 5-6 for this area.

If it was mine and you offered me 2k I would laugh in your face and show you off my front doorstep with a gun :roflmao:

I can appreciate your opinion on the trucks value but I cannot take you serious when you bring up a gun over a low ball offer. That's a good way to end up dead. Moron.
