What would cause you to burn 5 quarts of oil in about 2 weeks, with white smoke shooting out the exhaust. Vehicle also starts to vibrate from about 45-55mph... Any help is much appreciated. Thanks everyone

Make sure the pcv lines aren't pinched or clogged up. Too much crankcase pressure will force oil through the turbo seals. Also check the turbo output plumbing for oil puddling in the tubing.

I believe I'm having the same issue....chasing heavy blueish/white smoke that clears up after long drive. Going to pull intake/downpipe tomorrow inspect turbo seals leaking....probability of these ring style seals failing is low....I'm betting it is caused by something else. Do LB7's just have crankcase breather hose or some sort of PCV as well?

Also, oil pressure jumps/erratic at idle.....FPR & injectors are fine. Would crankcase/sump pressure cause this too?

Compression test it. Mainly bc it is easier than wrestling off the DP...

Then look for oil from leaking turbo in seal in DP and muffler if compression checks out ok...

Is this a duramax we are talking about or a gasser? You said he found his "car" running this way. If its a gasser i would say rings or valve guides, diesel inwiuld say cracked piston
