seemed like the tractor driver didnt do a good job,not saying he would have pulled the tank but i think the tractor had more...

Looked like the tank was being pulled to the ground and the tractor lifting the rear slightly, which would mean equal height on the chain connection would have helped the tractor.....

The drive sprockets on the APC are in the front so when it's under a load it will lift the front.
If they took the rubber pads of the APC's tracks that leaves steel shoes with 3" teeth(? Not the correct word).
There are easier was to stop an APC:p....I drove one for 4 years

thats is what we call them in the seabees grousers.. they can be flat to 6" pending what youare operating in..

and you can put rubber pads on for running on hard pack among other things
