Just installed this zone lift. Great lift everything went good and installed perfect. I have the torsions lowered just about all the way, now these bump stops are smashed into the lower control arm, should i worry about it? I only want it as high as it is now because the front angles are perfectly flat. Any opinions on this? Will running it like this mess with the ride? Disregard the cali lean haha rear lift blocks arent in yet

That's pretty bad IMO. Stock trucks will ride on them, but not THAT bad iirc. Maybe try the z71 style? Idk if they're shorter or not.

my tuff country lift had really small stops, about half an inch thick. I wonder if you can find a way to get some smaller stops in there.

It looks to me like the jounce bumper/bump stop is positioned a little too far back. See the little hump on the control arm? That is supposed to be lined up with the bump stop (flat portion) of the assembly. The tall part of the assembly should be in contact with the arm in front of that; I'll attach a picture to show how it is on my truck. Maybe you can find a bump stop that doesn't have the jounce bumper or redrill the holes to move it forward a little.

They won't affect alignment, only cranking or lowering the t-bars will. You can always trim the bumpstops too.

The z71 style stops are about the same height. Definitely not shorter.

lol those squishy bumps dont do much for an actual bottom out :roflmao:, been there.

put a pair of these on, it will keep the metal "ching!" down when/if you bottom out :D

Damn nice find James! Those are exactly what Cognito uses for the UCA and I need to replace them, and it does seem like they would be a perfect jounce bumper replacement for guys running lowered T-bars...which I also need ;)

Lol it's amazing the things I accidentally find when I'm looking for fabrication parts.

Well the stealership couldn't align my truck haha it fits on the rack but the cameras on the alignment arms wont read the heads on the wheels when doing a caster swing. So i took it to a shop in town that does busses and big trucks so it should be done by monday. Ill post pics of the final product soon. Here are some pics of some of the install.

Of coarse there was some Budweiser involved haha i was impressed with the quality of this lift for the price. I put new poly urethane bushings in the lowers, kryptonite lower ball joints and new zone upper control arms. Also went with fox 2.0 shocks. Put cognitto steering braces on too, wish i could have still ran the DHD center link brace, which btw is for sale now. Comes with the roller bearing support too.
