Bully Truck accessories….not a fan

Just thought I'd give a heads up. I bought this Bully Truck Accessories "Polished Billet" gas door on eBay to replace the rusty one on my winter beater. It appears Bully doesn't have an actual website so no way to contact them. Don't waste your money on this garbage. It's been only 3 months and it looks like this-

It's polished aluminum. All polished aluminum will corrode when it comes to winter salt. You need real chrome. That can be polished off with a buffer and rubbing compound.

That's why I do not buy anything that is polished, it requires you to polish it more often to keep the mirror finish. Chrome is the way to go.

The thing is I don't think it is polished billet. I think chrome pits worse than aluminum. I have run non-coated aluminum wheels in the winter without issue and every chrome wheel I have seen people run in the winter look bad after 1 season. I don't daily drive it. It might have been in the snow one time. I think It's just a poor quality product.
