I have an 06 duramax and I want to delete the egr. Will this throw a code and if so what do I need to do?

I checked my vin # and according to it my 06 has an 071/2 engine. Does manybody else have this problem?
you read the vin wrong then. there is no way a vin from 06 can tell you, you have a motor from a year and half in the future of being built.
As big as you want as long as you lift it or trim. On the OBS I think it was 35" max with out a lift. But I could be wrong.
Mine has 35" tires and even with the lift and some trimming it rubs when the tires are turned all the way and you hit a bump. I think they can only go 285/75/r16 maybe 305's without clearance issues

Cuz there's probably 100 threads, if not more, some of which have been archived for over a decade now that already have all the answers. In better detail too...
Like, instead of saying "turned hard over" the post will say "lock to lock, or, at full lock"
And, actually being informatitive to the point of telling what lift they're running and even being so informative as to giving a tire size they're running with their "05 lifted on 6 inches"...more often than not you'll also learn what rim width, back spacing and offset the wheels are too...
And all that can be had by a very simple search, the info is already there and we don't need to have more data on this... At this rate there'll be 5pgs of complete BS before anything worth while gets mentioned, let alone all in one post outlining what needs to be done/how it needs to be done/what size lift/what brand of lift was used/how much trimming/ what width rim/with what tire/ how much torsion bar adjustment to use ETC ETC ETC...
Some things are just better off learned the hard way, and by that I mean by research, reading, scouring through threads and pics, learning through self motivation, self education, application and in the end finding your own personal preferance

But for the record, some have gotten 35x12.5" tires in the wheel well with no lift...

And from EXPERIENCE, I can tell you I've put 35's on with just a set of UCA's
They were skinny's tho...285/75r18 (11.4 x 34.8)

Good to know. And just so everyone else knows I didn't mean to cause a scene and I'll respectfully appologize for my post if need be. I was just giving my experience on the truck I bought. I dont know the back spacing because simply put, I let someone else spend the money on the truck. I just bought it. Again I appologize
