Exactly! It seems everyday someone new on Facebook claims to know everything about the Dmax. Heck, I started with the Page learning from the guys there. From there the DP to now here. This forum has by far the best/real info available.
It didn't take much to realize that kid was full of sh!t. And for him to say oh yeah line up with my buddy lmao. Sounds like someone else blowing smoke at this kid.

Funny this came up. We were putting the Ally and transfer case back in Katie's truck the other night and were talking about how the transfer case seems to hold up decent even around 1000hp...

I think some people stupidity and pride/ego get in the way and they just can not admit they were wrong or lied. It amazes me when they keep coming back trying to prove their case.
I honestly used to never get on it, but anymore if you want to keep up with shops and companies, about have to find it there. I absolutely hate when any real tech gets talked about. Once the post dies, its pretty much gone. Hard to search for things on there

I get s*** like this all the time from guys here where i live. They have a stock trans cummins or duramax and think bc it has a transgo or a co pilot that its a Billet monster trans and have a edge tuner that its the baddest thing on the planet. I had a guy tell me about a month ago that his 01 vp44 truck made 900 horse and i asked him what clutch he had in it and he said a stock clutch, but he had convinced himself that it made that much power so i didnt even bother arguing with him. I dont even bother talking to peolpe like that anymore bc my aorta feels like it gonna explode from high blood pressure.
He probably does have a 900 hp Cummins if you add up it was 350 stock then his smarty stacked on another something programmer Cummins guys use the an intake and exhaust and all that up we good 900 horsey torque kind of like the kids with their d max and a ppe hot plus 2 set on tune 10 which is like 350hp do now they have a 700-750hp stock truck and can't tell them any different
