It seems no one actually posts prices on their sites, so kinda curious what a mild build would run me? Only looking to be safe for 500 or less hp, nothing crazy.

Best bet is to call I know if you want a price from mike call that way you get what you need rather then possibly more than you would need And you can talk out details.

Well I have no need for it now, so I don't wanna bother a guy building em if I won't be buying.

:shrugs:

Well a stage 4 build is about 4,000-4,400 and that will hold about as much or as long as the rods in your motor.

A stage 3 is somewhere around the 3,500 range I would guess. Not many get that though so unsure of the price.

Big Dipper is in Maryland and I believe BlackoutPerformance is in Pennsylvania? Those would be the two closest to you.

Neither of em have websites, I swear diesel aftermarket is lacking in the online stuff lol

Guess I'll give em a call tmrm and see how painful a built trans will be, and for the prices you gave, they include a 'verter?

Those prices should be a convertor, aftermarket rebuild kit, labor to take out of truck and reinstall, new fluids, filters, tax, and labor.

It should be an out the door price. Walk in with truck. Come back in day or two, Pay the $4,400 (if its a stage 4) and get back in truck ready to go.

My builder close to me is $4,300 for stg 4 and thats how his is. Out the door price.

george does no marketing because he doesnt need it.

His voicemail box stays full so if you call him once and he doesnt get back to you within the hour dont get offended. He is an excellent guy, and we still talk time to time.

He will certainly do you right when you decide to build it, if you go with him. Ill gladly drive the 7 hour drive for my next truck for him to build

So installing your own trans is not done...? That seems odd.

And, to be honest the truck running 12s would be cool, but, in the end, its still gonna be feel slow and making the car fast is easier and cheaper.
