Going back to the builder, truck has thrown 741 twice now


2004 Silverado Cali lb7, Airdog ll 165, fresh sticks at 325k, Rick Fletes Dsp 5 on v2, 33x12.5 nitto at on 20 inch American Racing 20x10 wheels, Stage 5 Built Transmission by Mike Cole with triple disc billet low stall converter, 4 inch Injen cold air intake, Profab Intake Horn, Batmo Wheel, Turbo port and polish, Full EGR Removed w/ fed belt, 3.5 inch MBRP Downpipe, Full five inch MBRP Exhaust axle dump, lbz cp3 pump, Dual Yellow Top Optimas, High Output Alternator, Cognito Pittman and idler w/ support kit, Cognito Upper Contol arms, Drilled and Slotted Rotors on all four Corners, FED Y Bridge, Shantz Custom Fab Traction Bars.

No heat issues which is the tcc indicator, as well as solenoid f. All checked out. I'm thinking it's in the tune. I emailed nick to get me a tranny tune and see where that gets me.

741 means the converter clutch never applied. Pink slippers tune will not help as he doesn't know how an Allison works. Put a Tech2 on it and see.

It runs like nothing is wrong with it but the code popped on. Hasn't come back since yesterday morning. I'm gonna head out to my builders shop tonight if I get out of work early enough and see if anything shows up on his hardware.

Iowa lly I meant the ecm tune cause it has never done it on my optimized stock or tow tune. Just my street and race tunes...

How do I check the tcc slip with my v2?

Also I pulled the filter last night and checked the dipstick and everything looks brand new, which it should considering it's week old mind you.

Take it back to the builder. Based on your signature there is no reason for you to be having TCC apply issues.

I am, I'm gonna log it tonight on the way there to see if there is actually any slip while in full lockup.
