I'll respond to this with my own opinions. This does not reflect the views of anyone else on the staff but me (others may agree or may not agree, I don't know). In my opinion, this board is here to help people who are working on their truck. If you are trying to start a business, you're on your own.I was wondering what piping most kits use??? I didn't know what thickness people use for hot pipe, charge pipe, ect. That's what this forum is for, helping each other. If your going to sit and make smart ass remarks then I don't see how you are contributing to the community.
Find me a 17 year old that is building twin kits. Then you can tell me what I "don't know". I've had accomplishments that few teens in the nation have. I spend half my time at highschool in the auto shop and the other half on diesel forums.
Yes I'm 17, but a Monday to Friday minimum wage McDonald's job isn't going to cut it for me. So tell me, what were you doing as a senior in highschool?
I think it's great that you're showing interest and initiative at such a young age, but maybe you should slow down a little on your business plans. Get at least one kit under your belt before you try to conquer the diesel performance market. You don't even know what you're getting yourself into at this point.
I wish you the best of luck, but I don't think you're quite ready to start selling twin turbo kits. Since you have some hands on experience with mechanic work (assuming that's what you were doing in the auto shop), maybe you could get a job as a mechanic. It should certainly pay better than McDonald's, and you would gain more real world experience.
