Maybe drill a little hole next to the shaft a little ways in and tig weld it. Should give some better welding penetration that way.

If it will work in a lbz block im sure it will work in a lb7. Im gonna make a call in the morning to make sure it will work. If it does im sending my other crank i just got back bc i havent had it keyed yet and it hasnt been opened. It will save me about 300 bucks too. :woott:


They are the same block just the lbz and up have some more material in the webbing to make them stronger and the main caps are a little different. Gm parts direct has lml cranks for 675 I believe.
