definitely LED lighting, it's worth it. Radiant tubeFloor heat as well if you can afford it. Set the air compressor outside in a hut off the Building and run a main hose inside to tap off to.

Multiple floor drains where you mostly wash vehicles and have the floor drains with clean out pits with a shovel in them to empty them after you wash a few dirty vehicles in the winter.

We used spray foam insulation in the whole building including the ceiling and it's almost air tight. It's a 64x50 x18 foot tall ceiling shop and the dead of winter here (-5*F) the heat will only kick on for 15 minutes twice a day. It also keeps cool in the summer by itself if you keep the doors shut. If you have trailers be sure to position your shop doors long ways so you can pull the whole rig in. I messed up and didn't do that on mine. It's turned sideways .

Also if funds permit do a 12" step wall concrete flindation bove yoyr floor so you can wash the whole place without rusting your beams.

You can never put too many doors in it either. They coke very handy. I build living quarters/loft in my west end and have lived in it recently.
