Help: Buddy broke down, need some help Daytona Beach Area

Any of you guys from Daytona Beach area with a LMM that can help one of my buddies out? He has a U0101 loss of comm with TCM. He's on vacation until next sunday. I'm going to next day him a TCM to try but figured if someone was around there with a TCM he could just try to see if it fixes it. Maybe save him a couple days of waiting if it is not the TCM. Would be a simple unplug yours, plug it in to his truck and see what happens. Thanks

Will an lbz ecm also work? I think they will but I'm not sure.. Might open up more options.

Well he is probably needing a TCM not ECM, but an LBZ TCM won't just be plug and play. They might work with a reflash but I really don't know for sure. LMM all just swap with no flashing required.

Have him try and ground the tcm real quick.....should get it going with a makeshift ground strap

Lbz the will work..... But will shift like crap. Ground the casing to see if that fixes it
