BT LML line pressure controller

I just ordered parts to do a full delete on my LML. Trans is stock, and I'd like to keep it that way. Going to have the tuning done by ridgerunner. Looking at the BT line pressure controller. How much does this help? Does it allow higher power levels through the stock trans?

The line drop is controlled in the valve body on the lml. The box that Ben made with MikeL will allow you to have full pressure under high demands but still function as originally designed when cruising. :thumb:

The BT box will change your pressure from 80 psi with 220 psi spikes on the upshift and down shift to a constant 250 psi. You will notice more power from the engine. If you exeed 800 ft tq; the clutch lining in the converter will begin to break up. trans clutches leave a lot to be desired also.

Mike could the box be left in full pressure mode all the time and if so what would be better this box or your parts for the vavle body for stock trans tuned truck below the 800 ft lbs/tq?

If you're going to leave the trans stock; the box is a better choice as the Alli will not exceed 250 psi. This will keep the clutches safe. My pressure set up will probably hurt the converter clutch lining, but I like the low/high pressure strategy much better.
Remember that you CAN NOT use both or damage will occur.
Forgot to answer your question...DUH. Yes you can leave Ben's box on full time. Eventually even the box will take its toll on the clutches as the valve body doesn't like this.I ran an A50 TCM with a '10 operating system for 6 months on my truck. When I pulled the trans I noticed some C3 damage because of this.
