I went golfing once. Some things I could not figure out:

The further you hit it, the further you must chase it. Sounds backwards, the other guy should have to chase it.

When the course goes over a roadway, and you nail a moving a car, how come that isn't considered an automatic hole-in-one? Anyone can hit something that sits still.

I agree, and a "birdie" should be knocked out of a tree and even better if knocked from the sky. The maintainence personell should be worth some points as well:angel:

Finally it's summer.....we've had 98 and 103 for the last 2 days. Some towns in the central part of our state topped 116 :) We are cooling off for a couple of days, then more HOT weather next week.

Cheers
Cindy

Went down to 9 deg F last night & my furnace started acting up at midnight. Stayed up half the night trying to keep it working. Spent all day chasing parts (it is under warranty but everyone is booked on such short notice) so I had to get my own parts. It was finally fixed at 7:00 tonight. Supposed to be 0 deg F tonight so I'm glad it is working.

You guys in warm climates should appreciate what you have..... & Canada please keep your cold air. At least I can brag, we do not have earthquakes, forest fires or hurricanes.
