There are a few guys around here that race quite often and thye are in low 9s high 8s

i am not going to lie i would be terrified to drive that with that much power

I, unfortunately can, so I am stuck with a '96 500 Indy-with reverse!!
We have what is called the 500 and under club here as we never get enough snow to really root around with the big hp sleds unless we drive 4 hrs to the mountains so we just run $2000 and cheaper ditch bangers in the fields!!
If your over 500cc-you can't ride with us!

A buddy I work with drags sleds in Nova Scotia. Apparently he may have broken the all-motor WR in the 1/4 mile this year on his Ski-Doo. I haven't talked to him for a while so I can't confirm it but his name is Jon-Adam Caldwell if anybody hears anything about it. I'll be talking to him next week when he gets to work and I'll ask him about it. He was in the 8's somewhere last I heard IIRC.
