Brothers new cage

Dunno who else out there likes the off road seen as much as i, specially the fabrication side of it but here is a cage i built ove rthe past weekend for my brothers polaris rzr. Ive built a few bumpers, and two other cages (one for mine, one for a buddy), built a BITD legal race rhino chassis, and am currently building a BITD legal class 7200 ford ranger. Guess its pretty much my hobby lol, not that my truck shows it lol. But anyhow, his cage still needs to be fully welded, clean up a few edges, put a roof on it and build the doors. comin out really nice.

That looks sick dude! Way better that the factory cage with the humped up top. That flat top looks way better. I have always wanted an rzr, would be the only way to get my gf in the dirt lol

Nice lookin cage man. Definatly post up some of your other work. I've always enacted to desert race but being on the east coast sorta makes that hard. I raced four wheelers and always said that I will desert race before I die!

thanks guys! ill find some more pics of stuff ive done. the rzrs are awesome. i bought a rzr S and its jsut awesome in the sand dunes out here. even keep sup with my dads long travel car when hes not haulin ass . did a really neat bumper for my buddies 06 f-250 that keeps the front bumper but flows with it.

the bender i got is just a JD2 manual bender. bending the mild steel is easy but im not lookin forward to the chromoly that ill be bending for my ranger lol. i also use a jig-a-joint for all the copes, as well as hand cope a few areas where the jig-a-joint cant get enough cope into the tube. Id love to steal your band saw ben

heres my 84 ford ranger. the front end stuff i did not build, the guy who is sponsoring me (threat motorsports) built it all. Its a slow process but i fully boxed the frame, front to back, has a 9" under the rear end with 64" giant motorsport leafs to get 21"s of travel, threat equal length beams up front with d44 spindles/knuckles to give 22"s of travel with 2* of camber change through out the whole travel and swing set steering to give 0 bumpsteer, 4.0 v6 transplanted and m50d-r1 manual five speed, and some other stuff. I plan on keepin it old school lookin and next up is gettin a fuel cell and fuel pump to get her runnin and start caging it.

heres my rsr s cage. i dont like it. it was the first rzr cage i did and wound up thinkin of it on a friday night, busted my butt all weekend to finish it for our trip to the dunes the following weekend and it just didnt come out like i wanted. its too technical, and a little taller than id like. i may build another one like my brothers i did for it one day but not for a while. The card board has since turned into aluminum lol

That's some good work man! I really would love to have a rzr but just don't have the time. I never got out to the dunes like I always wanted when I had a quad. The furd front bumper sorta looks like a blingstar bumper lol
