I'm not convinced that they're as bad as some people make them sound...diamonds have a steel ring land insert which helps some with ring wear..an .007 ptw clearance I think is what they recommend which isn't that bad.an a little racket when they're cold isn't bad to put up with...

Diamonds will be fine in his truck. Like he said, the steel ring lands they have makes the difference.

Make sure you talk to a Diamond about those pistons before you spend any money. They said they have had some issues with those. Check first!
