Nope, truck was getting it first set of injectors since production. Sometimes they snap when trying to remove them. Someone on here flamed bc they are "hardened steel" and "they never break"....
Waaaay back in the day when i was still in HS, the administrators would teach kids some tips on taking standardized tests. I was reminded of one of these when reading the first round of drama about this subject. "Statements within a true or false question using the words always or never usually indicate the statement is false". The statement rings true here as well I think. The members who did not agree with you were not saying it CANT happen, rather highly unlikely. Are they wrong? Not IMO as its never personally happened to me. Are you wrong? Not so much.... you personally have seen it happen and therefore its understandable you didnt want to see it happen to others. Can we get over it now?
Yep, and to add to that. Reread my posts in that thread, head gasket is a singular statement not plural. If it takes 10 hrs to do a HG then it takes 20 hrs to do 2 and last time I checked a duramax has 2 HG's. Some people need to grasp the idea of singular and plural before they get all high and mighty, as well as a few social aspects. I just sat back and watched...
I would never do only 1 gasket,i would always have the head decked if it needed so the head would be flat.
Let me ask you this how did you determine which head was leaking because to only do 1 side your taking a big gamble, its not always evident which head is leaking.
