Broken Crankshaft Count?

What about Harbin? Thought he had barely 3,000 miles when his broke. I have a buddy here in salt lake who broke a crank at 8000 miles.

Were either of these brand new? Harbins wasn't i don't think

My crank that broke was a brand new LB7 crank. Had somewhere around 5,000 miles on it. Made 987hp one day and broke the next on a WOT run. I have a 70k mile used LBZ crank now with AF cam. Been beating the hell out of it for almost 10k miles.

I will second this. I grandpa drive anymore just to hopefully alleviate issues. Figure if im easier on it then it will last longer

Damn that sucks man. We did tubes and tonsils in 2 months last year. Mixed with sending the one son to cali 6 times a year it sure does get expensive quick. Good luck to your kido getting the tubes. Not a real fun time for them.
