Broken Crankshaft Alt Fire Cam

I know everybody says it hasn't happened. They say that the alternate firing order camshaft is the cure. I am here to tell you guys that isn't so. I have proof that they can still break. uploadfromtaptalk1431822686741.jpg

At the same spot, too. That sucks. Sorry to hear.

Time to look harder at other ideas. You guys had some good new ones in the "Count" thread.

Just turn it way down. Maybe go back to a stock internal block and go with it. Won't hurt so bad if when it breaks

But I wouldn't blame you either

That sucks! I never believed it would fix anything. Theres other as well they just don't pimp them selfs on the Internet. The only possible fix I know of is the Wagler crank and rods were they make the journal narrower and narrow the rods. That will have to help.

Sorry to see this happen. I think it does help but not the complete answer. Wagler still recommends running the alt cam with his crank and rods.

I too am curious since I'm right in the middle of my build . This has me wondering if I shouldn't go with a new crank now . What's a new crank go for guys ?
