So somehow I managed to break the forend on my 500 today while out playing. Its an all stock for now. Just wondering what setups you guys have that work. All this gun is for is home protection. I wouldnt mind throwing on a flashlight and possibly a laser but not really sure if thats needed with a shotgun. Either way I need a forend soon and would like to not have this same POS plastic one I had.

How does that stock feel? Collapsible? Does the angle feel right bringing it up and getting on point? Kick back worse than stock?

I like that and was wanting that same setup. What was the forend? Where did you get the shell holder?

What is this Im reading about synthetic forends can not be replaced on some of these 500's because the action bars are attached to the forend? Im pretty sure that is my setup as I have two small bars that connect on each side of the forend. Thats what broke on the forend part.

I looked at some stuff from Ultimate Arms Gear once. Came across a sweet deal on a tactical setup for my 500, but never baught it and now I am kicking myself. Had all the pistol grips, rails, laser & light with the remote switches. It was around $200 and it is usually alot more than that.
