I'm putting a LML/LBZ engine in my SWB 69 and I want to put Wilwood 6 piston up front and 4 piston on the rear. Will I have enough brake to keep it from pushing through the beams, and can I get by with a Wilwood master cylinder with no booster on the street? I've never driven anything with aftermarket brakes, but I hope someone has and can share their thoughts with me. Thanks

Interested in a set of brembos? I got them for my C10 and need to finish building the kit, But it probably would be cheaper then the Wilwoods. This is spindles, hubs, rotors, calibers and pads. They are all new and bought threw GM, they are for a 09-13 Cadalic CTS so replacement parts would be cheaper too.

I would be interested but I think I have committed to these Nascar leftover parts. I might know someone who is though. Pm me a price and some details and I'll pass it on.

How hard would it be to get the calipers to work on our trucks and would it be a worthwhile upgrade?

The caliper wouldn't be hard to make work, its just finding Rotors to work with the calipers with how big the hubs and axles are on the newer trucks.

Dustin has the willwood kit on his truck, 16 in rotors and 6 piston calipers, they are amazing!!! I ordered them for mine but had to return them when my oil pump took a crap :( . I will reorder them when allowance allows.

He still has the hydroboost. I really don't want to look at it on my firewall if I can get by without it. I don't know how his work but they look awesome.

they definitely fill the 22's he has, I couldn't wait to see them behind some BMF 20's.. I went for a ride in it and told him to order them for mine as soon as we got back to the shop. I was amazed at how the where. I'm sure you can get away without the hydra boost. Give them a call and see what they offer.

Do you really want to trust a C10 spindle to hold a Duramax AND its power?
Put C20 or C30 spindals on it at least and give Kore3 a call see if the can muster up some c6 stuff for it
Just my 2c

Your ride doesn't count Brett, your spindles are needed only for cruising around the pits, they are in the air the rest of the time. I think the factory spindles will be fine but these other spindles were "thrown in" with the big brakes. These spindles are 3" taller than factory, so I don't think they are going to work because the front end looks too high now. I've got to do some measuring. These brakes look pretty good and I couldn't beat the price. I'm still not convinced I won't need a hydroboost. Thanks for the replies.

A wilwood manual master cylinder should work fine, you just have to get the right stroke and bore size. I cannot remember the math or the equation to figure it out, off the top of my head.

I decided to update this post with some costly information. I couldn't use the big hubs up front because they would not fit in my Budnik wheels. I called Wilwood to find out which master cylinder to use. He told me a one inch bore, which was wrong for manual brakes which requires a 7/8. A good friend had ran into this problem before and had a 1 1/8 he traded me , so I ordered a hydraboost for a C/10. Of course I had to redo the stainless brake lines to accommodate, and now need to redo the hot side pipe and get it re-powdered. I don't like a lot finishing this thing though.
