im having a hard time spooling on the line, and part of it is my brakes suck. the pedal is real soft. i dont have any leaks and the truck has 95k on it. what kind of upgrades can be done to help hold better. ive heard the hawk pads work good but only when warm which wont do anygood for sledpulling. if money wasnt an issue i would just put the ssbc 4 piston calipers on it and be done but for 3g its really not a option. thanks

Just did new pads, rotors, and stainless braided lines on the front. What an inprovement, I can't wait until I get the back done. FWIW Russell has a kit available for Gm 2500 Hd's. They are about $150.

EBC yellow stuff brake pads are supposed to be pretty good. My boss (Jim Jones on the quick 50 list) was having trouble holding his truck on the line, and he fixed it by switching to the EBCs on the front.

I used drilled/slotted from R1 concepts, 5 piece SS braided all the way around, and posi-quiet ceramic pads all the way around.....Made a HUGE difference, never tried but I can almost gurantee I can make full boost without blowing through the brakes.

I heard just changing the fluid helps a ton. I havent done it on mine yet, but i might this year.

after 95k, ^^this^^ is the first place id start as well as changing your powersteering fluid. makes a big difference.
