I see MMA mentioned but no boxing has it lost it's luster? There is a big fight tomorrow night Mayweather vs Canelo! Should be a brawl! I considered getting it through PPV but at $75 bucks , forgetaboutit! I'll wait for Showtime or HBO next week!

So two undefeated! Can't stand Mayweather tells you who I'm routing for ,

I'm expecting this to be a great fight. Canello is hungry! We cant discredit how good Mayweather has been and continues to be. In the end, i'm hoping the young buck prevails!

I agree Canello is hungry and has huge heart. I just hope IF (probably will) it goes to the judges it's not controversial! Hoping that there is a clear winner even with a decision. I'd love to see Mayweather hit the mat just not sure it will happen. But I can dream . Way to much ego in that guy needs some humbling beat down!

I'll take boxing over MMA anyday. Much more brutal

What? Not nearly as many knockouts boxing, and with the fights continually getting shorter, fights nearly always going the distance, and continuously rigged judging, I gave up on boxing quite a while ago. Hell there aren't even any good heavyweights left are there? MMA is a much more complete (and real) sport, and usually more brutal as well. The occasional fight that is totally on the ground still sucks though...

what happens in MMA when someone hits you and you hit the ground? Fight over...
In boxing, someone knocks the shit out of you, you have 10 seconds to find your pride and stand back up to fight. So of coarse their arent as many "knock outs" as their are in MMA. But when a guy gets knocked out in a boxing match, you bet your sweet ass he got his bell rung real hard, not just roll his eyes in the back of his head for half a second.

So a guy can get knocked out 15 times as long as he is able to stand back up and keep his eyes from spinning, thats brutal.

oh, and you have to actually punch, even when you are tired. No rolling around hugging each other till you catch a bit of wind.

Ground fighting wears you out quick...
When I was younger and it better shape I did a little of both. You have no idea how out of shape you are till you start fighting hand to hand no matter what kind it is

Ill agree with a few things here. But mma is way more brutal. Hands down. And if someone hits the ground, fight is not over until ref calls it. Most the time, the people are gettin elbows to the chin or eyes once on ground. Not just layin there tryin to get up like in boxing. And i guarantee you take gsp, rampage, Silva and throw them in a ring with any boxer, the boxer isnt goin to be standing very long. Hell i bet most wont last a round once there thrown from above there shoulders onto there head.

Boxing isnt much anymore since MMA got real popular.
I wish MMA was like how it was when it 1st started. In todays MMA the only real MMA we see is from Jiu Jitsu guys. Most MMA fighters are all ground & pound, brawlers. Since when is brawling a MMA? Or a wrestler? Like Brock Lesnar was never a real MMA.
I want to see a real Karate fighter, (from Japan) or Kung Fu fighter (from China) or a Taekwondo fighter (from Korea) fight in the UFC vs a known UFC guy.
