picked up an 03 regular cab last night thats got some body damage down the passenger side. original owner, guy bought it with 12 miles on it and it now has 267k, completely stock.
it runs/ drives, hazes a bit at idle but seems fine otherwise. It has 4 new tires, and new transfer case.
the insurance company totaled it saying it had a bent frame right behind the passenger front wheel, they have some yellow crayon on the frame right where the rear mount is for the upper control arm but looking it over closely and comparing it to my truck i cant find any damage, if there is any it is so minor you cant see it.
what it needs:
rad support, fender, door, bedside, bumper, headlight/ tailight
the grille is fine, i have the stock bumper off my 02 from denali swap, also have my stock headlights and tailights.
so hoping for a few hundred in used body parts and an alignment i can have it on the road.
and the best part is.... paid $2800 for it
not sure what i'll do with it yet, definitely keeping it, i'd love to do a 1/2 ton reg cab short bed but we'll see what time / $ allows next spring/ summer, just going to get it road worthy for the winter and keep some of the salt off my 02.
and i was given a bully dog power pup for lb7 the other day so might as well put that to use on this truck.
if anyone has some body parts laying around let me know
