2002 (gmc) gay mans choice 2500hd dura/alli. Extended cab long bed 4x4 the grey color with 304k and a blown head gasket. The body is a bit rough but not to bad. I gave 2,250 for it and its 260 miles away.

Hell of a good price. Think the best deal I ever got was a 2x4 02 GMC pepsi machine service truck in SoCal for 3K. Had to pay Kodiak Johnny to haul it from Hemit to my brother's place in Apple Valley then I drove down and brought it back to Boise. Sold the engine and tranny to a friend for a motorhome conversion, it was only a head gasket and engine looked good on tear down did replace the bearings etc. Injectors were good, (GM had replaces them at least 6 times) and tranny looked great. It had a big utility box on it that Nathan sold for a good price and he has kept the truck as a build truck for LB7 twin turbos.

What kind of race truck you building? Cool if you could shorten it to a short box. Good luck:thumb:

I have a feeling it is going to be dedicated puller so the length at 157.5 fits the pulling limit of 158 perfect, I am still thinking it over cause its tough not to just repair it in the stock form and sell it. It still books pretty decent and there is good demand for these trucks in this area. Will keep everyone posted on direction I choose to go with the truck once truck is in garage and on lift. Shouldnt be long before beers have been consumed for hours next to it brain storming the plans.
