So I am looking into some injectors, but I have not been able to find very much information on the motorsport nozzles for LBZ's. It is my understanding that it changes the nozzles to SAC design for LB7's, however LBZ's already have that design.

So they only change the spray pattern in the cylinder and also the spray angle by a couple of degree's? Are they something that need to be matched to my piston bowl design? What are the benefits/disadvantages.

They will be 8 holes and have a 2 degree tighter spray pattern. I beleive they will be dual plane as well . I like them on LB7's. I have not used them on LBZ trucks but have on llys. I have had good results on bother lb7 and Lly trucks. You get a little better atomization and I have noticed increased fuel mileage vs the conventional nozzle on the lb7. No tuning ingredients change and picked up a consistent 1 to 1.5 mpg. You do not need a custom matched piston to use them either.

Would you be willing to share how big of a nozzle it was on the LB7? And were they just the motorsports nozzles on a stock body? Or full Exergy injectors?

how large are you looking to go? once you get past a certain size the BMS Nozzle is strongly recommended. we have used stock nozzles up to 400% but it is not recommended for longevity, it was more for testing reasons.

I would love to see results. I can't believe tips can make that much of
A difference in fuel economy. Hard to believe!

What I don't understand about that SAC nozzels, is they only offer them In 45 overs for lb7 and nothing smaller. Guys claim better mpg and longevity of the injector is greatly increased because of the design wearable seat for the needle and seat, so I don't understand why they don't produce a SAC nozzel for stock applications, you'd think that's where the money sis at

I am interested in then as well, but from what I understand is that the smallest size for the lb7 is a equivalent to a 50%. This is the size the motersport nozzles start as, so you cannot go any smaller.

They are not for sale by themselves for the duramax. They do sell them for the cummins by themselves. Exergy and S&S sell them. In fact S&S only use those on lb7 oversized.

I'm curious if anyone has a difinitive answer to wether or not the BMS nozzles would/do benifit/compliment Fingers oval bowl pistons...? It eems plausible to me that the BMS nozzle would offer a great advantage over standard tips, with the oval piston design

If they have a tighter spray pattern then I would bet they would compliment the Pistons better. The only failures I have seen are from fuel being sprayed out the bowl.
