Not sure if the 1.0 is divided or not, Shane. What would you and Mike recommend for a lighter 2wd truck?


If you could ask him what exhaust housing he used and why he chose it, that would be very helpful Zak.

Truthfully Tom I would run a S468 with the 87 turbine and a 1.0 housing. It should spool great and be capable of pretty hefty hp.

Thank you for the advice, but that turbo is a little beyond my budget.

Yes I know it a little more money. If wanting to save a few dollars go with the 369 SXE with the 73 turbine and .91 housing. You will be pretty happy with that one. I used a 66 version on a stock fueled LBZ that I did a turbo upgrade on and it spooled very well. Probably picked up 80 hp without any tuning changes. With larger injectors the 369 should impress you.

Shane, Ive been stock turbo for so long, anything different would impress me. :hehe:
