boost pid vs gauge

Idk how much info i can respectfully share without upsetting the tuner, but at max psi in the log the vein position was at 2%

like i said im not a pro with the whole vane thing and by no means a tuner of any sort but i would think yes they do. i know with just a vvt turbo and nothing under it you can hear the vanes sweep after you start it. if they dont sweep the vane position sensor is bad. others guys i've helped that described low boost situations have had a bad vps. idk if a bad vps will throw a code or not, but im assuming you've checked for codes?

the vanes open to spool faster and close to build more peak boost i believe. call ATP and ask them about the tunes but im sure everything in them is good.

Ok here is what I found the boost pid will only read up to 52.8 so that was usless..so I checked my boost line and found it to be leaking. With an air compressor hooked to it it would only make 40 pounds on my gauge. So its leaking pretty good as you can see it wasnt completely broken in half like shown.
