Just trying to decide how high of a boost gauge I should get. What would be max boost pressure from the stock turbo? I'm not planning on doing anything with the turbo on this truck. Oh and which do you guys feel would be a better gauge to put in, rail pressure or engine oil temp?

35 should do it for you. If you don't tow a lot then I would go rail. If you tow a lot or have modded the oil system at all a oil temp

So a 100-230F oil temp gauge would be good? I tow a bit but not every day, maybe once or twice a week and only around 60 miles at the most. Average trip would be around 15 miles round trip. Also where would the oil temp be read from?

for stock and how much you tow plus where you live you really don't need either gage. EGT and boost would be enough esp if you are running a stock trans

I've seen 34 out of my stock turbo I have a 60psi in mine. But have you considered a edge cs or cts? Just picked up a cs before I took the truck off the road and liked it want to get the egt probe and was looking think they have a rail pressure sensor ( if so im buying it).

If you truely are gonna keep the stock turbo forever, I would get a 40psi gauge. 35 psi is too small. Isspro has more diesel truck related gauges then autometer.

I was going with the gauges because they look more like they belong than what an Edge display will. Unless there is an aftermarket turbo that bolts right in with no other changes necessary, I won't be changing it unless mine goes and I can get a different one way cheaper.

Well I'm gonna go with Isspro EV2 gauges, a 60# boost gauge and 2000* pyro. I'm probably gonna go with the oil temp gauge, just gotta decide where to get them from.
