he already told me once that the wheel was finished then 3 days later tells me it hasn't even been started. I figured I will give him till thursday, if nothing has happened by then, I will get a refund and take my business elsewhere.

That stuff really sucks. Hearing it's done and then later on the story is changed. Awful way to conduct business

The guy has actually been pretty good to me. He will email me right back every time I email him. Will answer any questions I have too. Just odd that I get told the wheel is finished and then 3 days later get told the wheel hasn't even been started.

The paypal ordeal is that he paid the machine shop via PayPal for 14 wheels he had orders for, which equated somewhere around $3500 if I had to guess, paypal put a hold on the payment because of the amount, machine shop said you aren't getting anything till the payment clears..which then of course shit rolls down hill...

Luckily I paid through paypal and didn't gift the money so if it comes down to it for whatever reason, I am covered.

Sure havent. Haven't gotten a response to my last 2 emails so I sent him 1 more today saying I want a refund and this is bullshit. I paid on July 21st. If he won't give me a refund or doesn't respond by tomorrow, I am filing a paypal claim.

That really blows Mike...
Sorry to hear about all this. I dealt with a similar ordeal not that long ago, luckily for me it was reconciled with little headache but it did take some time and allot of communication. I hope you get your money back promptly, something tells me the guy probably tried to do a bill me later payment to the machine shop and couldn't cover it...

On another note, have you contacted mark at Danville about a wheel for your turbo? There's gotta be a more reputable and well known shop you could source your needs from...

Just a heads up for you. Paypal isn't all it's cracked up to be. Hopefully they help you but it's not really as great as they make it sound.

Make sure you have your ducks in a row because they have screwed me over before.

If the man frequents PayPal a lot and keeps money in there, they freeze his account. If you prove the deal is sour with proof via email, messages etc, you are good

Bit of a bumpy road getting here but I finally got my refund just barely, all it took was suggesting I was going to file a paypal claim.

I won't be doing business with boost density ever again.
