The in car.. well..

You guys need to look into a fixed system. A lot of the sandrail guys run them that have a tube mount set up that is very solid. Has it's own camera, cables, mic, etc.. VERY reasonably priced too! I'll hunt around over the weekend for some of the more popular systems.

The videocam was hard mounted to the rollcage. That's how smooth the salt really is.

We will try to get a better setup in the future with image stablization.

Were you just using a hard mount for a hand held camera?

The kits I was refering to use a camera a littler bigger than a hi-liter.

Pat and I spent all day yesterday doing a first round salt removal on vehicles . The salt is everywhere .

Thank You ..... Pat , Kat , Allison , and Tommy for the great dinner last night . And letting me part of this whole adventure .

You all made me feel like part of the family .

They say WD-40 or mix Diesel with motor oil and spray it all over. Next year hopefully will have some time to figure something out. I'm personally glad we will only be going once a year

This is the Jesel truck. It was awesome. They where switching engines in the pits to set multiple records in different classes. I stole the towel idea to cover the intercooler and trans cooler from them. Just wish I would have seen it earlier. The RV was throwing most of the salt in it when we where towing. Some of the earlier pic's you might notice the ghetto mud flaps that me added :rofl:

for parcipating at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

An oscillating lawn sprinkler located under a vechicle will remove most of
the salt.
