May want to spay some PB Blaster on the bolts, lessen the chance of breaking the capture nuts loose on the cab.
Got a can of it on standby. It's been parked for 2.5 years so hopefully it's not too bad.May want to spay some PB Blaster on the bolts, lessen the chance of breaking the capture nuts loose on the cab.
Was it out quite a bit before? Good to know it helps. The updated gm rear cab mounts fixed the body lines for my truck
I hear ya. Sounds like we have the same issue. The bed on my truck doesn't line up with the body either. It's really irritating to me
Yes it was. Cab to bed lines are pretty straight now. It been a couple years since the dealer installed them under warranty.Got a can of it on standby. It's been parked for 2.5 years so hopefully it's not too bad.

Get the part numbers first.I bet if I went to my local stealer they'd look at me like WTF? If I asked them for updated rear cab mounts
Get the part numbers first.
I just installed the updated cab mounts about 3 months ago, they fixed my weird vibration and the body lines. When I get home I'll get the part #'s. I found them on one of these diesel forums, can't remember which but either way they were superceded so the #'s on my receipt are the correct ones.
I'm guessing that's what the shims are for as they go between the cab and top cushion. That's weird I only saw 3 pieces on the diagram when I got mine. Upper mount which is enormous, the lower rubber bushing and the metal plate which holds the bolt straight through the two mounts
Correct.OregonDMAX, they look like the one to the right..
