Wife's car is involved in the VW dieselgate scandal so have been researching to find a replacement vehicle, was curious if anyone had been around an X5 with the diesel? Was curious how reliable they were etc...

There buying my wifes TDI back at the end of this month and We have also been looking at a lot of x5 35d's as a replacement vehicle for her.

Haha great minds think a like, I know i've already done some research on some aftermarket goodies :thumb: and yes they are available
Something to consider is they're rare, so parts availability may be limited & spendy. And I'd venture to guess that finding technicians/mechanics that know that engine is even more limited. Once deleted, it does seem like they're reliable & can be modded to be pretty dang healthy!
