I started a thread a couple days ago about not being able to hit over 25psi of boost on my 04 lb7. Stock charger. Long story short I have been rescaling my MAF to a LBZ size intake. So after not being able build anymore boost I made some changes to B0201 MAF rate. It felt great so I hooked up the V2 and Logged its final run. It launched and ran strong all the way through until top of 4th when it sounded like a huge pop and loud turbo whistle! I instanly let off the throttle and threw it into neutral while I slowed down to a stop and shut it off. I checked everything, waste gate lines, intercooler boots, radiator hoses, looked for antifreeze in my oil and I couldn't find anything (no codes). I started it back up and the best way i can explain it is it sounded like it was running under water, or a deep camed gas engine and was smoking bad, It was night so i couldn't tell black or white. We towed it home and I left for my graveyard shift at work. Then when I get home this morning there is a puddle of oil that has dripped out of my front pipe. I checked everything agian including radiator hose looking for headgasket signs. But the hose wasn't stiff and everything else looked good.
Possible blown turbo!? what do you guys think?
I honestly don't remember looking at my boost guage during the run but my log shows max of 28psi boost.
Sorry for the long post. Thanks for your help!

Did you pull the intake and check the turbo shaft for play? It doesn't sound like you were running an insane amount of boost but it could have just let go. I would start by checking there.

I didn't think so either. Before rescaling MAF a little more I couldn't hit over 25-26. But I don't know. I'll pull my intake and mouth piece and check the shaft. Thanks Levi
