Dirving down interstate and loose ignition but do not loose lights. Replace fuse and first hit of key pops again. Third fuse turn on IGN to on position and sump at starter and fires right up. Now it will start with the Key any reasons for the fuse issue.

Yep, look underneath the driver side dash and move the wiring harness away from your e-brake. It has prolly rubbed through to the yellow ign wire and blowing fuses.

I know this is a old thread but I thought I would go on record for others with the same problem.
My ign a kept blowing, I saw this thread and looked for the wire but could not find it, after 3 days of looking I gave up and had my truck towed to the dealer. It took them 2 days to find it but the problem turned out to be the yellow wire up by the parking brake had rubbed through and was shorting out. With the tow it cost me $445.00.
