Unless you have milky oil, that's not where it's coming from. My guess is the line for the coolant you capped is leaking.

It's definitely coming from that gasket... question is why would coolant be leaking into the valve cover? :D

you should be leaking oil there then too or like Dale said, have milky oil. i bet its traveling down from somewhere above there along the edge of the head from engine valley.

That valve cover has leaked oil since day 1 it's just closer to the front of the engine

But you should be seeing something from where the water is coming from as well. either way, the oil should be milky if thats the case

Oil doesn't appear to be milky but coolant is definitely coming from the vavle cover
