Tried to bleed brakes again tonight. Took the master cylinder off, it was fully bled already...did the pump method again all 4 corners and master cylimder fittings and still no change. I did notice however on the driver side caliper it sounded like sucking air during pedal return...checked feed line, replaced washers, still no change. Could a caliper leak air by and not visibly have any defect??

Yes a caliper can be leaking from the o ring around the piston. Never had it happen on a car or truck, but on my harley the caliper was leaking around the piston, I had no visible sign it was leaking until i let the bike sit for a few days and saw the drips under it

Glad you figured it out. When I put disk brakes on my 1980, I had a issue bleeding them as well (pedal was spongy no matter how much fluid I put through). The bleeders were "near" the top, but not the very top sitting in the caliper mount. Once I removed them from the caliper bracket and bled them with the bleeder at 12 o-clock, they worked mint.

Good thing you figured it out because no one would have thought of that.

It's a easy thing to do when you have them both off at the same time.

I have been trying to get my brakes bled for 3 days and had no idea what was wrong until now. I had my axle out of the truck for a locker and bigger axle shafts, never paid attention to the calipers when I put them back on. My bleeders are on the bottom...
