I'd need to 3M tape it for rock chips though....

Thanks trent looks good. I wonder how it would look with the bumper black and leave the grill chrome? How did you prep it so that the paint would stick?

I am dying to color match my front end but I haven't found a part number for the paintable plastic valances.

Mine started out chrome , I sanded and used plastic type paint and primer and other than rock chips its held up fine . The tire Are Toyo Proxes Larry I cant imagine they would ever hook your 2wd , I hated them for the strip . On a well prepped track they were decent but in 4wd at my home track i never got better than high 1.7's and a whole lot of 1.8's stick with your slicks Larry .

ive only done my grill so far my bumper and valance are going to be bedlinered.

my grill was a chrome grill orginally i just scored the underneith of the bar and was able to get it to peal so i wont have to deal with chipping later. you can see what i mean byt he pealing here. blow dryer and utility knife was all i needed.

no longer have the ranch hand on the truck so i decided to get some paint work done on the dmax.

i think it turned out well.... :bananallama:



btw the bumper is just placed on the mounts, mounting it tomorrow
