Bro sad part is ive babyed this truck. The motor is only 2.5 months old. I build the motor along with my dad. He wanted a father and son project so we done it together. I build the motor with the attuide that i was going to hook a bottle to it and let it all hang out. Well i didnt end up doing that because all the people i talked to told me to keep my DD stock it will last for ever. Well i never hooked no juice to it. The truck gets wash and waxed 2 times a week. I dont no why because its old. But i really really like the truck and wish i didnt have to sell it. But with no transportation and no wheels and 275 dollars a week what can i do about that

Black nasty was my very first truck that i actually owned. And it been a money pit. I spent money that i didnt have my first go around and i just cant do it again. It sucks very bad so im trying to sell or part out. I figure if i work it all out right then i will get quit a bite if i part it out.
well, on your link your calling the 4l80e a baby allison.it is nothing like an ally trans, the L480's are basically a turbo 400 with over drive the L460 is the over drive version of a turbo 350 (basically) but NOT anything like an allison.

Update it will not happen over night money is tight right now. I will be keeping black nasty and making a project truck outta her. I will be buying a 12va cummins and doing the swap. If i where more knowledge able i would put a duramax in it. But i do not have the big money for a wiring hariness and all. Sorry about the spelling guys. And im sure i will have loads of questions there the build.

Kurt, you need to start flying model airplanes for a hobby For $150 you get 15 minutes of fun. Then when the battery dies coast it in, crash it, spend $30 fixing it and your back in the game.

glad your gonna keep it and swap in a 12 valve cummins, as i am in the same boat with my 89 chevy 1500 ext cab...may be we can hook up and help each other out! ( but it has to wait as i am getting a new hip next week) :hug:
