Well the gelling monster hit me again. The question I am asking is, does bio diesel gel easier then normal diesel, even with it being winter blend. I have been running winter diesel keen and I dumped some 911 it today and have to get a new filter. The other thing is my buddys 13 cummins gelled today as well off of the same station fuel.

I would say YES do to the fact that pump fuel is treated or a thinner blend to control gelling where Bio isn't I assume. Have you asked the station where it is purchased what or if they do anything to help in gelling of the fuel? Most people I have heard run a blend of Bio and Pump to help in the winter .

What blend % of biodiesel? I would personally double or triple treat each tank with anti gel when running bio fuel. Straight biodiesel will gel before water freezes depending on the specific blend that was created. A few guys I know usually mix kerosene with straight bio in the winter.
