Its a rule of thumb guys, ya'll should know that :hug:. There are always exceptions just like some stock rods hold high hp amd some cranks break at stock power.

we just put input and output in The funks at 700. none broke yet but we were going in to freshen it up so went ahead with them.

I ran well over 1k on stock shafts , but they would have failed eventually , IMOP if you ever have it out put a Billet output shaft in it , until then wait till it breaks the cost is the same .

If you go with a billet input I would also put a sleeved hub in.

Sweet! When did you get done with that gem? Last time I was looking, which was a while ago, the suncoast sleeved hub was the only thing out.
